PROBEROS offshore reels cover two jobs on the same boat: speed jigging over structure and trolling for pelagic fish. The range runs from the KRX500 at $54.99 to the DG80II at $399.99, with drag from 40 lb PE-class tackle up to 45 kg (99 lb).

The KRX500 is the light option. It weighs 243 g, runs 6.5:1 and takes 40–60 lb PE, which makes it the reel for Kingfish, Dogtooth Tuna and Amberjack on 100–250 g jigs. The KJN600R two-speed covers the middle ground with 40 kg (88 lb) drag and a 3.0:1 low gear for winching.

The DG80II is the big-game reel. It holds 1000 m of line, runs two speeds and delivers 45 kg (99 lb) of drag at 2.8 kg body weight. That is Marlin, Tuna and Wahoo territory, where a smooth drag matters more than a fast retrieve.
