PROBEROS Deep-sea trolling lures are designed to be dragged behind a moving boat to catch offshore pelagic species like tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo, and marlin. They range from surface-skipping skirts and diving plugs to high-speed metal baits, typically used with 30–80 lb class gear at speeds from 4 to 15+ knots to mimic fleeing baitfish.

Skirted Lures (Plunger/Chugger): These lures feature rubber or silicone skirts that produce bubbles, simulating baitfish or squid; they are ideal for billfish and tuna.
Diving Plugs/Minnows: Hard-bodied, lipped lures like the proberos or katuysha dive below the surface to target deeper feeders.
Trolling Spoons: Long, slender metal lures that create a high-speed, wobbling, and flashing action, often used for mackerel.
High-Speed Lures: Designed with heavy, solid heads to remain stable at high speeds (10-15+ knots), such as the Braid Marauder, which are excellent for wahoo and tuna.
Sea Witches: Often combined with natural bait like a ballyhoo or bonito strip to add scent to the attraction.
